Every platform limits how much one channel can post in a day. That limit belongs to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X or Facebook, not to StreamLadder. Posts from other apps can count toward it too.
A few things are true on every platform:
The limit is per channel. Two TikTok channels each have their own limit. When @yourstream is full, @yourstream.clips can still post.
Most limits don't reset at midnight. On TikTok, Instagram and Facebook every post frees its place 24 hours later. So the time a channel can post again depends on when you posted, not on the date.
StreamLadder shows you the time before you post. Pick a time a channel is still full, and you see which channel and when it can post again. Press Use to move the post to the moment every channel is free.
The limit: about 15 posts per channel in 24 hours. TikTok doesn't publish the exact number and it differs per channel.
When it frees up: 24 hours after each post. If you posted 15 clips this morning, the first place frees up tomorrow morning.
What StreamLadder knows: TikTok tells us whether a channel can post right now, not how many posts it has left. So we count your posts and show when the channel can post again.
What helps: spread your posts over the day, or post some of your clips from a second TikTok channel.
The limit: a fixed number of posts per channel in 24 hours. Instagram tells StreamLadder that number for your channel, so we always read yours, not a general one. Small or new channels can get a lower number.
When it frees up: 24 hours after each post.
What StreamLadder knows: exactly how many posts your channel has left. That makes Instagram the one platform where the time we show is always right.
What helps: spread posts over the day. A carousel counts as one post.
The limit: YouTube doesn't publish one. New channels usually get somewhere between 10 and 20 uploads a day. Verifying your channel raises it.
When it frees up: at midnight Pacific time, which is 09:00 in the Netherlands in summer and 08:00 in winter.
What StreamLadder knows: nothing until an upload is refused. After that we remember how many posts your channel managed that day, and warn you one post earlier next time.
What helps: verify your channel in YouTube Studio. That is the one change that raises the limit.
The limit: 50 posts a day for accounts without Premium, and X also blocks you when you post a lot in a short time.
When it frees up: a burst block clears in about 30 minutes. The daily limit counts in half hour blocks.
What StreamLadder knows: nothing until a post is refused.
What helps: leave at least half an hour between posts to the same account. Premium raises the limit.
The limit: Facebook gives no number. How much a Page can post depends on how much people engage with it lately. Small Pages can post less.
When it frees up: usually after a few hours. Facebook doesn't say when.
What StreamLadder knows: nothing until a post is refused. That is why the app says it can't give a time, and suggests one a few hours out that you can change.
What helps: post less often to a Page with little engagement, and spread posts over the day.
Open the red post on your calendar. It says which channel hit its limit and when that channel can post again. Press Move to to move the post to that time. Nothing is posted again on its own: a retry into a full channel fails again, and repeated attempts can look like spam to the platform.
