Why You’re Seeing This Error
TikTok has daily posting limits for third-party apps like StreamLadder. If you hit this limit, you'll see a "Post limit reached" error when trying to publish a clip.
This is a restriction set by TikTok, not StreamLadder — and it resets every 24 hours.
What You Can Do
Option 1: Wait 24 Hours
The simplest solution is to wait until the limit resets. This usually happens 24 hours after your first post of the day.
Option 2: Post Manually
You can still get your video on TikTok right away by downloading the clip and uploading it directly through the TikTok app or website.
To do this:
Go to your Exports tab.
Find the clip you want to post.
Click “Download” and save it to your device.
Upload it manually to TikTok.
Tips to Avoid This in the Future:
Space out your scheduled posts throughout the day.
If you post frequently, consider mixing auto-posting with manual uploads.
Keep an eye on your posting volume to stay under TikTok's limits.
If you continue to see the error or believe you haven’t hit the limit, reach out through the chat widget on our site — Kai (our support bot) or a support agent can help verify and troubleshoot further.
