Why you're seeing this error
TikTok caps how many videos an account can publish through apps like StreamLadder. Once you pass that cap, TikTok rejects the post and you see "post limit reached".
This is TikTok's restriction, not ours. Two things about it are worth knowing:
The daily number is not fixed. TikTok says it varies by creator account and puts the typical figure at around 15. It is the only cap on this list that the platform declines to state precisely.
Posts from other scheduling tools count too. TikTok shares one pot per account across every app publishing to it.
There is also a shorter limit of 6 upload requests per minute. If you publish several clips back to back and the failure appears within seconds, that is the one you hit, and it clears in under a minute.
What you can do
Wait, then hit Retry. Failed posts are not sent again automatically. Once the window has passed, open the post in the Content Publisher and click Retry. For the per minute limit, wait a minute. For the daily cap, wait until 24 hours after your first post of the batch.
Post it manually instead. Uploads you do yourself in the TikTok app do not count toward the API cap.
Go to your Exports tab.
Find the clip you want to post.
Click Download and save it to your device.
Upload it through the TikTok app.
How to avoid it
Spread your posts across the day rather than publishing in batches. Both limits here punish bursts.
Mix scheduled posting with manual uploads if you regularly publish more than 15 clips a day to one account.
If you run several channels, connect a separate TikTok account for each. The cap is per account.
A different error, same symptom
If you send clips to your TikTok drafts rather than publishing directly, TikTok allows only 5 drafts waiting for approval at any one time. Open the app and publish or delete the ones sitting there, then try again.
